About Alison

During her first summer in law school, Alison interned at HTC Corporation in Taipei, Taiwan, a major manufacturer of smart mobile devices. She also externed for the Honorable Richard A. Jones at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington as well as the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

With a robust education and experience at the intersection of technology, business, and law, Alison is a great addition to our practice. Prior to officially joining Focal, she interned with our firm for two years. Her stellar work ethic and unwavering client focus have made her an adept legal advisor, an intrepid litigator, and a knowledgeable legal resource for our diverse clientele.

As an Associate Attorney for Focal, Alison handles a range of business transactions, and litigates commercial and intellectual property disputes. She works closely with large and small businesses to devise sustainable legal strategies that are in alignment with their long-term objectives and needs.

In addition to English, Alison also speaks French, Mandarin, and Taiwanese. In her free time, she loves to travel, eat great food, and spend time with her family. A lifelong learner, she also makes a point of staying abreast of the latest technological advances and trends.
