Garrett litigates commercial disputes involving issues of technology, intellectual property, privacy, and free speech. He developed a passion for issues at the frontiers of technology and the law while working for the Uniform Law Commission where he advised on a wide range of matters, including virtual currency, driverless cars, drones, and trade secrets.

Before Focal, Garrett clerked for the Honorable Mary K. Dimke of the Eastern District of Washington and the Honorable George D. Fearing of the Washington State Court of Appeals.
