Garrett litigates commercial disputes involving issues of intellectual property, privacy, technology, and free speech. While working for the Uniform Law Commission (ULC), he developed a passion for issues at the frontiers of technology and the law. At the ULC, Garrett advised Commissioners on a wide range of matters, including virtual currency, driverless cars, drones, and trade secrets.
Having clerked for the Honorable Mary K. Dimke of the Eastern District of Washington and the Honorable George D. Fearing of the Washington State Court of Appeals, Garrett is equally comfortable litigating state and federal cases at the trial and appellate levels.
Garrett is pleased to be working at Focal where he and his colleagues share a deep passion for the law and an unwavering dedication to the success of their clients.
